This tastes pretty good. If you want it spicy... you'll have to spice it up some more. It's pretty mild.

4 cups Sovereign Coronation grapes (fresh or frozen)
1 1/4 cup sugar

German Potato Soup

German Potato Soup

1 onion, chopped
1 leek, trimmed and diced
2 carrots, diced
1 cup chopped cabbage
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
4 cups beef broth
1 lb potatoes, diced (don't make too small... you see why later.)
1 bay leaf
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 lb REDUCED SALT bacon.
1/2 cup sour cream

put everything except bacon and sour cream into a slow cooker.  Cook on high 4-5 hours, or low 8-10 hours, until potatoes are done.

Slow Cooker Chicken

3 Chicken Breasts
10oz can of Cream of Chicken soup
1 tbsp water
Dash of paprika
1 leek, trimmed and chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4c chopped parsley

Put everything in a slow cooker and cook until done. (8hrs on low?  Check the chicken for doneness)

This is a work in progress.  First attempt:

1/2 bag (1/2 pound?) Penne.
2 Roma Tomatos cut into 16 pieces each
1/4 large red onion diced
4 cloves garlic diced
fresh oregano chopped fine
White wine (1/4 cup?)
Olive Oil 3-4tbsp
Parmesan cheese
Kalamata Olives

1 lb. bacon. (500g package) Fried crispy, then crumbled
1 cup swiss cheese, grated.
1/2 small to medium onion, diced.
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)

3 eggs
1/8 tsp ground pepper
pinch nutmeg

Unbaked pie shell

Mix bacon, cheese, onion and mushrooms together in a bowl, then put in an unbaked pie shell.

Beat together the eggs, pepper, and nutmeg.

scald (heat almost to a boil) the milk and cream.

2 oz butter
1 pound onions, sliced
1/2 clove garlic
1 teaspoon flour
4 cups beef stock
salt and pepper
2 oz gruyere cheese (used mozz)
1 tsp dijon mustard
4 slices french bread

Cucs 1 - March 28 - 1L Jar
18g frozen dill
2 garlic cloves peeled, sliced in 1/2
1 TBSP pickling salt
1 tsp nosalt
20 mustard seeds
12 peppercorns
1 whole red chili about 2" not crushed
sliced up english cucs.
150ml 7% vinegar
125ml water

Beans - March 28 - 24 oz
12g dill
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp pickling salt
2/3 tsp nosalt
14 mustard seeds
8 peppercorns
1 smallish whole red chili
125ml water + 150ml 7% vinegar, not enough.
125ml water + 150ml 7% vinegar, used 150ml of this.

Maria's Mexican Meatballs

Maria's Mexican Meatballs
(variation on Maria's Italian Meatballs)

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup Masa (maybe too much... reduce next time)
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 medium Onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp Mexican Oregano
1 tsp salt

Mix together.  Make into balls.  Broil until brown.  Add to spaghetti sauce and cook 20 minutes.
